Health Program

You have access to quality medical and dental insurance, and are eligible for healthcare benefits after 60 days of employment with our therapy staffing agency. Our dental plan covers most common services. For medical plans, our staffing agency reimburses $150 per month for therapists and therapy assistants working full time (average 30 hours per week) and $75 per month for those working part-time (average 20 hours per week).

401(k) Plan

After 1,000 hours of work in a 12-month period, you’re eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan to invest money for retirement. You have the option of contributing 1% to 100% of your salary, up to $16,500 in 2009, on a pre-tax basis. We may offer a discretionary match of contributions at the end of each calendar year with full vesting after two years. Individual contribution limits vary based on IRS guidelines.

Direct Deposit

Paychecks can be directly deposited into your bank account, whether it’s checking, savings or multiple accounts. Direct deposit occurs every Friday for all hours worked the previous week, Monday through Sunday, so you’re paid almost immediately for the work you put in.

Continuing Education/Association Dues Reimbursement

Once a speech pathologist, physical therapist, occupational therapist or therapy assistant works 1,600 hours of service with our staffing agency within a 12-month period, he or she qualifies for up to $300 in reimbursement for approved continuing education courses and association dues. Refresher courses related to your profession, license renewal and CPR certification are among some items that qualify.

Paid Time Off

Paid time off (PTO) is earned by the number of hours worked. Eligible rehabilitation therapy professionals, can accrue up to 80 hours of PTO per year if they work full time. You can accrue PTO even working part time. A TheraStaff medical staffing manager can give the exact accrual schedule. Use PTO as needed for vacation, sickness or a personal day off.

Holiday Pay

Our therapy staffing agency recognizes six holidays per year: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Depending on the laws of the state you are working in, you’ll be eligible for time and a half or double time. In all states, hours worked on the approved holidays are paid at the rate of one and a half times the regular hourly rate.

$500 Sign-on Bonus

We want to thank our new employees for joining the TheraStaff team. After 150 hours of service, you will receive a bonus check of $250. After an additional 150 hours, you’ll receive a second bonus check of $250.
