William (Bill) Stone, CPC
Founder and President
As President of TheraStaff, Bill Stone oversees strategic planning and daily business operations, including identifying expansion into new markets and staff development. Bill’s more than 30 years of professional medical staffing experience is comprised of various specializations in different markets across the United States.
Motivated to provide the growing rehab therapy sector with better clinical staffing that answered the ever-changing demands of medical facilities and patients, Bill founded TheraStaff in 1994. “The therapy field of healthcare is such an incredible profession with people who are dedicated and caring – and truly make great strides for their patients,” says Bill. “I am honored to be a part of the industry, am proud of the work we do and feel a sense of accomplishment every day knowing we’re helping change the lives of our therapists and the lives of patients in need of rehabilitative care.”
Bill’s involvement in the professional community includes membership in and previous president of California Staffing Professionals, and founding member and previous director of the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers. Bill collaborates with associations on a regional, state and national level as guest speaker on staffing industry topics.
Bill’s degree in business administration is from California State University East Bay, and he holds several staffing-related credentials including certified employment specialist and certified personnel consultant. His involvement with nonprofits includes the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and local community associations.
Bill is married with three children, two grandchildren “and counting,” he says.
Jackie Boehme-Mason
Indiana Marketing Director
As marketing director for TheraStaff’s Indiana office, Jackie Boehme-Mason recruits and develops new customer contracts for the therapy staffing agency’s Midwest location in Indianapolis.
“I enjoy helping professionals work with a very ethical company in a very competitive market,” says Jackie. It feels good to provide personal attention to both the therapist and client to ensure that both parties have long and complete working relationships.”
Jackie brings five years of experience in the staffing industry and 20 years of experience in customer service to her role at TheraStaff. Previously, she worked as a staffing coordinator at another firm and was in charge of new customer contracts.
Jackie earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Southampton in England. She is also a mom and wife of 20 years. In her free time, Jackie assists in fundraising for charities in her area.
Kristy Gargano
Regional Staffing Manager
As regional staffing manager for TheraStaff’s Orange County and Los Angeles territories, Kristy Gargano is responsible for recruiting therapists and therapist assistants for key healthcare facilities in the markets she oversees.
“I’m very excited to be a part of the TheraStaff team and reconnecting with therapists, helping them find the right opportunities,” says Kristy.
As a professional with more than a decade in the healthcare staffing industry, Kristy previously worked as area manager of a healthcare staffing division that generated more than $4 million in sales per year. There, Kristy’s responsibilities ranged from recruitment and marketing to overseeing daily operations of the division.
While there, Kristy was also honored as member of the company’s Presidents Club in 2001 and 2002, an exclusive recognition reserved for those who exceed profit by a certain percentage.
Miranda Magnusson
Midwest Regional Director
Miranda Magnusson’s role as Midwest regional director involves the recruitment of talented physical, occupational and speech-language rehabilitation therapy professionals in a variety of regions across the Midwest; managing a client base that consist of regional and national medical facilities; and advancing TheraStaff’s team with employee training and development.
“I enjoy working in the healthcare industry and staffing for the therapy field because it’s all about people,” says Miranda. “It’s rewarding to help our therapy professionals and clients’ medical facilities achieve their goals through mutually beneficial relationships.”
Joining TheraStaff in 2002, Miranda has a well-rounded knowledge of the business, and has learned all aspects of staffing, accounts receivable, payroll, employee training and management, healthcare industry trends and more. Major accomplishments include growing TheraStaff’s Indiana presence and goals include starting up and expanding new territories.
Miranda is a mother of two and volunteers her time being “team mom” for a youth football team and helping out at her boys’ school whenever possible.
Nancy Navarro
Southern California Staffing Manager
As Southern California staffing manager, Nancy Navarro provides licensed rehabilitation therapists to various medical facilities in the regions she serves. Supervising a group of 40 to 50 medical professionals, Nancy is responsible for scheduling, orientation training and management of employees on assignment.
“I thoroughly enjoy working with rehab therapists and medical clients,” Nancy says. “It’s extremely rewarding to know that due in part to my efforts, patients are receiving the quality care they need and deserve, and their lives are enriched.”
Part of the TheraStaff team since 2006, Nancy brings six years of customer service and management experience to her role. Major accomplishments at TheraStaff include securing exclusive staffing supplier status for key client accounts. She has also received a number of performance recognitions such as Employee of the Month and additional acknowledgements throughout her career for superior performance.
Nancy is pursuing a degree in information and decision systems at San Diego State University. She is currently certified in employee supervision and management from the San Diego Employer’s Association.
She remains involved in the professional community, with memberships in the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Contact Center Professionals Network and the California Staffing Professionals.
